Hot Off the Presses! CPEHN's 'Health Equity Forum' Newsletter

The latest issue of our Health Equity Forum newsletter came out today and it includes several great articles and dozens of resources!

CPEHN’s Executive Director, Sarah de Guia, opens the newsletter affirms CPEHN's commitment to defending the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and lifting up the voices of people of color! 

Our newsletter features an article from the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) that outlines the current federal landscape for health care. We also highlight our partners, Black Women for Wellness and ACT for Women and Girls. The article about Black Women for Wellness that reflects on the gains that have been made for African American community since the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the article about ACT for Women and Girls that discusses the consequences of cutting Planned Parenthood funding, espcially on rural communities. We have also included a provider perspective from Obiajulu Agha, a first year medical student at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine. Finally we have a state legislative update and an ACA Round-Up
