Legislative Briefing on Achieving Health Equity - May 2007

Assembly Health Committee Chair Mervyn Dymally and the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network invite you to join us for a Legislative Briefing on Achieving Health Equity.

Let's seize 2007 as the year to create a system where everyone has an equal opportunity to be healthy.  Participate in this legislative briefing to discuss:

  • Prevention of health disparities through "Health Impact Assessments"
  • “Having Our Say” – Health Care Reform from a communities of color perspective
  • Collection of data to identify and address disparities in our health system

Speakers will include CPEHN’s ethnic partner organizations, the Asian and Pacific Islander American Health Forum, the California Black Health Network, the California Rural Indian Health Board, and the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California.
