SB 1292: Alzheimer’s disease (2017 - 2018)

Summary: 

Current law requires the State Department of Public Health to provide public and professional education on Alzheimer’s disease to educate consumers, caregivers, and health care providers, and to increase public awareness. This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would require the department to conduct a study examining the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on minorities and women.
