Hot Off the Presses! CPEHN's 'Health Equity Forum' Newsletter

The latest issue of our Health Equity Forum newsletter came out today and it includes several great articles and dozens of resources.

CPEHN’s Executive Director, Sarah de Guia, opens the newsletter reflecting on her two years as CPEHN's Executive Director! 

Our Ethnic Partner Spotlight features an article from the The California Rural Indian Health Board (CRIHB) on an upcoming child passenger safety course designed to reduce injuries. This programis a part of CRIHB's dedication to provide safety and injury prevention services to California’s rural Indians.

Anisha Hingorani of Multicultural Communities for Mobility (MCM) contributed an article addressing the transportation needs of communties of color. MCM has a rich history of teaching culturally-accessible bicycle safety to people of all ages, leading walking and biking tours connecting neighbors with art and history, and leading the charge for social justice-driven active transportation work. We also feature new staff and updates on our sponsored legislationCovered California, November statewide ballot measures, and more!
