The Affordable Care Act includes provisions that will help improve access to health careers for communities of color.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) offers incentives for providers to work in underserved areas, leading to increased access to care and a more diverse workforce.

The ACA includes funds for scholarships and student loan repayment to incentivize medical providers to work in areas that do not have enough health professionals. By alleviating some of the financial burden of medical school, communities of color will have better opportunities to pursue a career in the health field.
