Communications Associate

The California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN) is seeking a full-time Communications Associate. The Communications Associate will create social media content and graphics, compile daily news clips, manage and update press lists, and support pitching to reporters. They will support the creation and dissemination of CPEHN’s communications including press releases, action alerts, and newsletters and support the planning and execution of CPEHN’s events. Additionally, they are responsible for drafting and contributing to Grants Team projects, including proposals and reports.

This position may be based anywhere in California. CPEHN maintains physical offices in Oakland and Sacramento. CPEHN has a mandatory up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination policy.

Legislative Associate

The California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN) is seeking a full-time Legislative Associate to support our policy work. The Legislative Associate is responsible for supporting CPEHN’s legislative work and the Sacramento office. This work includes but is not limited to scheduling and calendaring legislative meetings, tracking legislation, submitting letters, preparing materials, monitoring committee hearings, and general administrative duties as needed.

This position is based out of Sacramento. CPEHN has a mandatory up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination policy.

Managing Program Director

The California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN) is seeking a full-time Managing Program Director to manage partner relationships, network recruitment, and collaborate closely with department leaders and the Managing Director of Policy to align network building with CPEHN’s policy goals and strategies. The Managing Program Director will work closely with the Executive Director to operationalize strategic plan goals, set by the Board of Directors, into projects, campaigns, and activities. They will develop and implement a high-level strategy for strengthening CPEHN’s overall network and provide close supervision and support to CPEHN’s Community Advocacy Managers. The Managing Program Director will also project manage grants and projects that rely heavily on network strategies in addition to research and communications.

Community Advocacy Manager

The California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN) is seeking a full-time Community Advocacy Manager focused on behavioral health. The Community Advocacy Manager is responsible for mobilizing CPEHN’s grassroots partners. This includes but is not limited to: managing CPEHN’s coalitions, organizing local events, providing research support for policy issues, managing behavioral health contracts, and participating in communications activities. They are responsible for maintaining efficient outreach, advocacy, and mobilization to support CPEHN’s policy agenda. The Community Advocacy Manager will work collaboratively with advocacy and policy staff to support CPEHN’s networks and grassroots partners to advance our behavioral health advocacy.
