Community Resilience: Uniting for Mental Health Equity in Sacramento, Lompoc, Santa Maria, and Bakersfield

California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN) and Disability Rights California (DRC) are partnering up with Decarcerate Sacramento in Sacramento, Transitions-Mental Health Association (T-MHA) in the Central Coast, and The Center for Sexuality and Gender Diversity (The Center) and Vision y Compromiso in Bakersfield to host community conversations throughout California on recent mental health policy changes.
Event Agenda:
- Landscape Analysis: Explore the current mental health landscape, recent policies including SB 43, CARE Court, and Proposition 1, and the implications of these policies for communities of color and individuals with disabilities.
- Small Group Discussions: Engage in dialogue, sharing reactions, concerns, and strategies with fellow regional community organizations and members to preserve community care.
